5/29/09 Benefit to Save Common Art setlistSaturday, May 30th 2009 11:10PM
For those unable to make last night's show at First Church in Boston, the set list:
Really Right
Mix Tape
Lucky
Math Prof Rock Star
She's Dead (no interlude)
I Don't Know How to Party
Free
Sleepwalker
Just Like Me (acoustic and beautiful)
Los Angeles (acoustic and beautiful)
Now
Everything Must Go (with wonderful four-part harmony opener)
Background Vocals
(napkin poetry)
International (acoustic and beautiful)
Charley and Zooey (acoustic and beautiful)
And the encore, also acoustic and also beautiful, was a new song we loved that seemed to be called "Rapture's Gonna Wait."
As always, JBE was a treat, funny and talented, with nice texture from Josh's piano/keys and Dan's electronic toys (as in background vocals...Get your minds out of the gutter!). Looking forward to more Boston-area shows soon...

Ballad of Barry AllenSunday, May 17th 2009 3:20PM
Hi! Just wanted to drop by to say that I think I kinda love you guys now. I'm a fan of the Flash and as such, I happened to come across your wonderful song about him. I really like it a whole lot and it made me give your other songs a shot as well, and now I think I might've found one more awesome band to add to my favourites.
So, you guys rule ;) Keep it up.

Great interview. I liked what you said about "sleepwalker"
Thanks. I was hesitant to talk about that song for some reason.
